Honeypatch medical honey is a pure, organic and sterile honey that has been rigorously selected and analyzed to have healing and antibacterial properties. Each batch is tested in the laboratory before being selected for production. It respects a very strict quality charter imposed by the European CE label. Honeypatch imposes an even stricter quality charter which precisely defines the healing and antibacterial organic components present in honey as well as the concentrations necessary to obtain a clinical effect validated and confirmed by more than 260 clinical cases.
At the beekeeper, samples of honey are taken to be analyzed in the laboratory to check the antibacterial spectrum.
Samples that pass the test are then analyzed to ensure that they do not contain pesticides, heavy metals and any allergenic substances. In addition, the concentration of the active ingredients is analyzed and if the minimum values are not reached, then the batch is discarded. These analyzes are carried out by an external organization (Intertek) and are certified by the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.

Find the specific moleculesFood honey and medical honey are distinguished by their differences. The two were treated differently and do not have the same origin. Medical honey is sterilized and filtered: which removes bacteria that could be present in edible honey, without losing its physicochemical properties. The medical honey used by Honeypatch is mono-floral (100% chestnut flower) and has broad-spectrum anti-bacterial activity.
Here is a diagram showing the duration of enzymatic activity of gluco-oxidase (GOX). As you can see in the diagram, the effect is maintained for up to 48 hours.
Strict specifications to be respected by beekeepers...
Italy is a country which has preserved and maintained a real tradition of beekeeping. For our beekeepers, their hives are precious and part of their family. They use quality hives with space to ventilate them naturally. They treat their hives with care and without chemicals. They do not give the bees flower substitutes (sugar loaves) to increase honey production and prefer quality over quantity. In addition, the use of pesticides is prohibited on their territory. All these elements taken together make it possible to guarantee an industrial quantity of honey of exceptional quality.
